Coins With Holes Set
In the last 100 years, more than 30 different countries have issued circulating coins with holes in them (sometimes called holed coins). The hole is used to help make the coins look and feel different than other coins, making it easier to identify the coin by touch.
This set of 10 coins is a representative selection of modern holed coins,
including African, Asian, Middle Eastern, and European coins with holes.
Each set contains the same 10 coins, one each from Belgium, East Africa, Fiji,
France, Hungary, Laos, Lebanon, Pakistan, the Philippines, and Spain.
Our Japan 5-yen
holed coin is a great addition to this set.
Each set contains the same 10 coins.
Coins with holes are almost as difficult to find as square coins, so this set is a great way to add many to a world coin collection at once.
Coins may be small and can be a choking hazard for children aged 3 or younger.
